Competitive Research

Interpret competitive history and signals

History and signal lenses explain how competitors differ. They narrow investigation; they do not by themselves prove why a ranking changed.

Organic history

Switch between traffic, keyword count, and traffic value, then choose a 6-, 12-, or 24-month horizon. Compare sustained direction, inflection points, and recovery patterns instead of one isolated month.

Market position

The map combines reach and overlap for tracked domains. A large publisher can have high reach but low direct overlap; a smaller domain with recurring overlap can be the more useful search competitor.
